Lucid dreams

Dream Leaf Review

Dream Leaf is one of the supplements for lucid dreamers. It includes ingredients like Mugwort, 5-HTP, Huperzine-A, DHEA and Choline. Here is my personal experience testing this lucid dreaming supplement – Dream Leaf Review!

Get Dream Leaf

Single dose consists of blue pill and red pill. Blue pill supposed to promote restful deep sleep and  and cause REM rebound effect. The red pill should promote lucid dreams, improve dream recall and increase dream control. The supplement is packaged really nicely. Blue and Red pills remind of The Matrix.

There are total of 60 capsules. That should be enough for few months! Dream Leaf comes with very simple instructions: Blue capsule before bed, Red capsule after 4 hours of sleep. Teaching lucid dreaming techniques is not their job.

The two ingredients that were new to me were Huperzine-A and DHEA. Apparently Huperzine-A is purified from plant called Chinese club moss. Like Galantamine, Huperzine-A is used for Alzheimer’s disease, memory and learning enhancement, and age-related memory impairment. It causes increased levels of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is one of the chemicals that our nerves use to communicate in the brain, muscles, and other areas.

DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) – Dream Leaf says it Assists in helping you to fall asleep. It also promotes rational thinking during your dreams, which can promote extremely high levels of dream control, often involving the ability to fly, etc. However, I haven’t found any similar information elsewhere. This supplement may have some benefits on improving health conditions, but there isn’t much evidence for many of these claims. DHEA may have some side effects.

Enough talking. Let’s get down to business. Is Dream Leaf any good?

Once again I came to the point where I remember almost none of my dreams upon awakening, let alone lucid dreams. I am going to use this supplement and see what happens.

DAY 1. My first Blue capsule before bed. I don’t even know what it supposed to do. My mistake was I went to bed 4 hours before I usually go to bed. Therefore I couldn’t fall asleep for few hours. Took the Red capsule after 5 hours from bedtime. Feeling all groggy went back to sleep. Couldn’t sleep again. After waking up I remembered two dream episodes. One of them featured a dialogue with a girl from my university. The strange thing was that our conversation perfectly made sense. Usually that kind of conversations involve some kind of bizarre or non-sense moments from which you can spot that you are dreaming. This time THAT conversation was as real as real life talk.

I feel concentrated, self-collected and focused. I found it easier to find words I want to say while talking to people. That’s interesting. This effect wore off oncoming evening.

[3 days break]

DAY 2. Blue pill had me sleep well. After waking in the morning I managed to remember two dreams and one episode. Mostly important one of the dreams was sex dream! I feel like Dream Leaf really promotes dream recall.

This morning I have also listened to guided meditation MP3. I can now confirm that Dream Leaf promotes short-term memory and helps to focus. In the MP3 I was instructed to repeat after speaker some phrases. They were so easy to remember and repeat I was amazed.

[2 days break]

DAY 3.

Took pills as usual. Stayed in bed for total 10 hours. 3 bizarre dreams. In one my father was some Hispanic man and I was very little. I cried because he was leaving. In the other dream my female friend started to tell me a story by posting pictures on Messenger. The third one was about people not letting me to use toilet. A conspiracy was made against me not to let me poop. I woke up with an ache in my belly.

[3 days break]

DAY 4.

Blue pill worked well – had some good deep sleep. After 4 hours i took the Red. I then stayed in bed for 6 more hours, waking up at some times and writing down my dreams. Total 5 dreams this morning. I can say my dream recall and detail have improved significantly. Having chance to stay longer in bed is really an advantage while using Dream Leaf.

However, I haven’t had a lucid dream yet. I need to incorporate at least some basic dream practice (reality checks, dream signs, intention etc.)

[1 day break]

DAY 5. I now managed to remember one dream fragment even before taking the Red pill. After waking up in the morning I wrote down few more. However, all of them are not in great detail, foggy.

I believe making longer breaks between usage of Dream Leaf intensifies it’s effects.

[few weeks break]

DAY 6. Did a small break from Dream Leaf and lucid dreaming in generally. Decided to come back while reading Daniel Love’s book on Lucid Dreaming, which incited me to go back to basics of lucid dreaming and strengthen them. Anyway, back to Dream Leaf. After 4 hours of sleep I took the red pill – and there it is! The first time I woke up exactly after 90 minutes and had a vivid sexy dream. I also did a reality check in that dream (tried to put my hand through my leg, which, unfortunately, wasn’t successful)

Interestingly enough, second time I woke up after 90 minutes also. Had a dream about my last day in school, full of dances and funny moments. This one was also vivid and quite long dream.

It’s now obvious for me Dream Leaf has a positive effect on Lucid Dreaming. After long time without dreams, Dream Leaf acted like a quick fix and helped me to boost dream memory as well as have more vivid dreams.

[2 day break]

DAY 7. SUCCESSI was in a classroom with two girls. Somehow (possibly because of Dream Leaf ) I clearly knew, that I was dreaming. I told one of them that this is a dream. She instantly became not so shy, if you know what I mean…

With this successful attempt I am ending journaling my experience with Dream Leaf.

Conclusions on Dream Leaf

This supplement clearly has some effects. Not only it promotes deep and good sleep (blue pill), but also increases dream vividness, dream recall and level of consciousness. Dream Leaf is a nice boost for lucid dreamers, creating very nice opportunities to become lucid every time it’s consumed.

However, I believe it’s not a magic pill and will not give you instant lucid dreams! Also, this was my personal experience with this supplement – I can not guarantee you will get the same effects, although there are quite many other testimonials it works.

All in all, it’s totally worth at least trying Dream Leaf.
